On Sunday, the first 40,000 fans will receive an Opening Series Hat, thanks to Sycuan Casino Resort. It’s also our first KidsFest of the year, presented by SDG&E! Families are encouraged to arrive early to enjoy bounce houses and other inflatables, games, face painters and other kid-friendly activities.

The Padres 2023 Opening Day, presented by Sycuan Casino Resort, is set for Thursday, March 30 at 1:10 PM when the Padres host the Colorado Rockies. Tickets to Opening Day are extremely limited, but seats remain for other games in the series. Join in on the pageantry, tradition, and fun!

The Pad Squad started in 1995 as an ongoing feature in ballpark entertainment. Over the years it has evolved into one of the most recognizable ambassador teams in Major League Baseball. Today, you can find the Pad Squad participating in hundreds of local community events along with leaving lasting impressions with Padres fans at Petco Park throughout the year.
